Windows At Chatres Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCABBA DEFEFG

Spiritual colour in dimness angel highA
The very Light made flesh It is as thoughB
Blood throbbed and blanched and fired to feel the flowB
Of thought within the veins or ecstasyC
Live in one still drop What leaf's juice could dyeA
That clear clear green of paradise what glowB
Within the vine's black purples deepen soB
Meshed in the blue of coldly burning skyA
-
Light for its crystal body has put onD
Unearthly glory of verdure and of airE
At dawn and bright in mystery the flameF
As of a heart eternal pulsing thereE
O earth and sky were needing a new nameF
When I came out into the simple sunG
