Trees Are For Lovers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCACDEFAGEFGDDHIHJI JEGKEJGJJ

Trees are for loversA
A spirit has led themB
Where the young boughs meetC
And the green light hoversA
And shadowy winds blow sweetC
Trees spring to heavenD
So their hearts would springE
So would they outpourF
All the heart discoversA
Of its own wild treasureG
Into speech and singE
Like the tree from its coreF
Sweet words beyond measureG
Like leaves in the sunD
Dancing every oneD
And weaving a fairyH
Cave of quivering raysI
And of shadows starryH
Where those lovers drownedJ
Each in the other's gazeI
Lose all time aboundJ
In their perfect givingE
Give and never tireG
Of their fulness stillK
In the fresh leaves livingE
One full song unsatedJ
Of the flower DesireG
And Delight the fruitJ
Love that's matedJ
