To The End Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCD EEFFD GGHHD

Because the storm has stript us bareA
Of all things but the thing we areB
Because our faith requires us wholeC
And we are seen to the very soulC
Rejoice From now all meaner fears are fledD
-
Because we have no prize to winE
Auguster than the truth withinE
And by consuming of the drossF
Magnificently lose our lossF
Rejoice We have not vainly borne and bledD
-
Because we chose beyond recallG
And for dear honour hazard allG
And summoned to the last attackH
Refuse to falter or look backH
Rejoice We die the Cause is never deadD
