Spring Has Leapt Into Summer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEB FGHIEG JKLMEK NOPQEE

Spring has leapt into SummerA
A glory has gone from the greenB
The flush of the poplar has sobered outC
The flame in the leaf of the lime is dulledD
But I am thinking of the young menE
Whose faces are no more seenB
-
Where is the pure blossomF
That fell and refused to grow oldG
The clustered radiance perfumed whitenessH
Silent singing of joy in the blueI
I am thinking of the young menE
Whose splendour is under the mouldG
-
Youth the wonder of the worldJ
Opened eyed at an opened doorK
When the world is as honey in the flower and as wineL
To the heart and as music newly begunM
O the young men the myriads of the young menE
Whose beauty returns no moreK
-
Spring will come when the Earth remembersN
In sun bursts after the rainO
And the leaf be fresh and lovely on the boughP
And the myriad shining blossom be bornQ
But I shall be thinking of the young menE
Whose eyes will not shine on us againE
