Separation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDF CGCG HIHI

We parted at golden dawnA
I feasted my last on her eyesB
And journeyed journeyed aloneC
Mountains and cities and skiesB
-
Hurried with cruel paceD
Endless and swift as the yearsE
From the light from the sun from her faceD
My heart full of darkness and tearsF
-
In a day in a night have flownC
Ages on ages fleetG
At dawn I wander aloneC
In a strange in a silent streetG
-
O love far off in the climeH
Of our joy remember and bendI
From that early glory of TimeH
To me at his desolate endI
