Pine Trees Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDABDACAEFGFCD

Down through the heart of the dim woodsA
The laden jolting waggons comeB
Tall pines chained togetherC
They carry stems straight and bareD
Now no more in their own solitudesA
With proud heads to rock and humB
Now at the will of men to fareD
Away from their brethren their forest friendsA
In the still woods through wild weatherC
Alone to endure to the world's endsA
Soon to feel the power of the NorthE
Careering over dark waves' foamF
Soon to exchange the steady earthG
For heaving decks the scents of their homeF
Honeyed wild thyme gorse and heatherC
For the sting of the spray the bitter airD
