November Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCACDCEFFEGHIIEH

Together we laughed and talked in the warm lit roomA
Out now alone I comeB
Into the street in the fall of the early nightC
Shadowy skies with a pale uncertain gloomA
Hover above the houses dim but brightC
In wetness mirrored farD
Retreating lamps outshine the lingering lightC
Hazily blue the air heavy with dewsE
The wind and before me the cries and the crowdF
And the sleepless murmur of wheels not loudF
For a magical softness all imbruesE
The softness estranges my sense I see and I hearG
But know 'tis a vision intangible shapes that seemH
All is unreal the sound of the falling of feetI
Coming figures and far off hum of the streetI
A dream the gliding hurry the endless lightsE
Houses and sky a dream a dreamH
