Little Hands Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBACACCCCC

Soft little hands that stray and clutchA
Like fern fronds curl and uncurl boldB
While baby faces lie in suchA
Close sleep as flowers at night that foldB
What is it you would clasp and holdB
Wandering outstretched with wilful touchA
O fingers small of shell tipped roseC
How should you know you hold so muchA
Two full hearts beating you incloseC
Hopes fears prayers longings joys and woesC
All yours to hold O little handsC
More more than wisdom understandsC
And love love only knowsC
