Flower And Voice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDBDCE FCFEGHCI JCKJCKLMML

Tremulous out of that long darkness howA
Wast thou O blossom madeB
Upon the wintry boughA
What drew thee to appearC
Like a thought in the mindD
Ignorant unafraidB
And perfect Yet the windD
Blew on thee how sharp how drearC
The drops fell from the sudden clouded springE
-
Those delicate rare petals all storm thrilledF
Shone into recollection when my earC
From a half opened door was filledF
With a voice singing floating up to singE
A song long ago from a heart's darkness bornG
And upon young lips born againH
A voice flowering clearC
In beauty stolen from the world of painI
-
Ah not to night of beauty I thoughtJ
Yet beautiful beyond all hope's desireC
O wonderful more wonderful to meK
Than any miracle of beauty wroughtJ
Was my Love's voice saying beside the fireC
Where she leaned by my kneeK
Dear broken words words of no artL
And yet in them was all my want I foundM
Life has no more to give than that sweet soundM
Breaking and melting deep in my heart's heartL
