Evening Rain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

What is lovelier than rain that lingersA
Falling through the western lightB
The light that's red between my fingersA
Bathes infinite heaven's remotest heightB
-
Whither will the cloud its darkness carryC
Whose trembling drops about me spillD
Two worlds of shadow and splendour marryC
I stand between them rapt and stillD
