At Evening Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDECC FGFGAA HIHIJJ

Fly home my thoughts that frettingA
In alien words all dayB
Have longed for the sun's settingA
And wished all words awayB
Fly home to her that knows youC
And in her heart repose youC
-
Fly home my thoughts and flutterD
Like doves to gentle handsE
You need no lips to utterD
What her heart well understandsE
Her heart will open to youC
From far my thoughts she knew youC
-
Breathe out your breath like rosesF
About her loosened hairG
Soothe each eyelid that closesF
With tender murmured prayerG
Your happy vigil keepingA
Over her sacred sleepingA
-
Fly home my thought's devotionH
Fly fast and there abideI
A barren senseless oceanH
Is all the world besideI
Your home is only there where sheJ
Shrines all the world's desire for meJ
