A Winter Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCC DEAAED

Now December darkensA
Over Autumn deadB
The frozen earth now hearkensA
For the last leaf to be shedB
Above gray grass the branches bareC
Melt faint ghosts in misty airC
Like despairC
-
O the nearer deeperD
In my heart rememberingE
My Love's kiss and how her eyesA
Blessed me like enchanted skiesA
Is the joy that with the springE
Shall waken Earth the sleeperD
