A Picture Seen In A Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKBLMNIO

I saw the Goddess of the Evening pauseA
Between two mountain pillars Tall as theyB
Appeared her stature and her outstretched handsC
Laid on those luminous cold summits hungD
Touching and lingered Earth was at her feetE
Her head inclined then the slow weight of hairF
In distant hue like a waved pine forestG
Upon a mountain down one shoulder fellH
She gazed and there were stars within her eyesI
Not like those lights in heaven which know not whatJ
They shine upon but like far human hopesK
That rise beyond the end of thwarting dayB
In deep hearts wronged with waste and toil they roseL
And while beneath her from the darkening worldM
A vapour and a murmur silentlyN
Floated there came into those gazing eyesI
What should have been were she a mortal tearsO
