A Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRST UVW

Behold an endless evening over landA
That lapped in vast vales rises up afarB
Into the frozen mountains evening brimmedC
With silence so miraculously clearD
That crevices in peaks of distant stoneE
And rust red boughs of cedars at the footF
Of those remote and voiceless waterfallsG
Which down the black steeps of lone gorges plungeH
Are shaped distinct unto the wondering eyeI
And the mind seeing notes not how 'tis fairJ
But throned in languor has already summ'dK
All the vain journey thither Not a soundL
Near by no motion lifts a single leafM
Nor stirs one cold stalk of the sappy spurgeN
And powdery hemlock nor 'mid clustered reedsO
The peeping heads of certain dim blue flowersP
Mirrored in water idle as themselvesQ
And she that sits upon the bank whose headR
Droops toward her shoulder whose full lips are closedS
And whose wide eyes seem vacant yet containT
Profound remembrance sunken like a wreckU
Beneath gray seas is she of this entrancedV
And glimmering land the sole inhabitantW
