A Day That Is Boundless As Youth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIHJKLK

A day that is boundless as youthA
And gay with delight to be bornB
Where the waves flash and glide over sandsC
In their pure image rippled and wornB
Where laughter is young on the airD
As the race of young feet patters lightE
Linked shadows run dancing beforeF
In the midst of the infinite lightE
On a violet horizon asleepG
One milky sail glimmers afarH
And our spirits are free of the worldI
With nothing to bind or to barH
With no thought but the thoughts of a childJ
O golden the day and the hourK
The strong sea is charmed from his rageL
And the waste is more fair than a flowerK
