Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHH

HIS stature was not very tallA
Lean he was his legs were smallA
Hosed within a sock of redB
A buttoned bonnet on his headB
From under which did hang I weenC
Silver hairs both bright and sheenC
His beard was white trimm d roundD
His countenance blithe and merry foundD
His sleeveless jacket large and wideE
With many plights and skirts sideE
Of water camlet did he wearF
A whittle by his belt he wearF
His shoes were cornered broad beforeG
His inkhorn at his side he woreG
And in his hand he bore a bookH
Thus did this ancient poet lookH
