Identity Of Images (identité Des Images) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIIHJKLCGMNOP QRSTUVAWXGCIOYZA2IB2 G

I am fighting furiously with animals and bottlesA
In a short time perhaps ten hours have passed oneB
after anotherC
The beautiful swimmer who was afraid of coral wakesD
this morningE
Coral crowned with holly knocks on her doorF
Ah coal again always coalG
I conjure you coal tutelary genius of dreams and myH
solitude let me let me speak again of the beautifulI
swimmer who was afraid of coralI
No longer tyrannize this seductive subject of myH
dreamsJ
The beautiful swimmer was reposing in a bed of laceK
and birdsL
The clothes on a chair at the foot of the bed wereC
illuminated by gleams the last gleams of coalG
The one that had come from the depths of the sky andM
earth and sea was proud of its coral beak and greatN
wings of crapeO
All night long it had followed divergent funerals towardP
suburban cemeteriesQ
It had been to embassy balls marked white satin gowns withR
its imprint a fern leafS
It had risen terribly before ships and the ships had notT
returnedU
Now crouched in the chimney it was watching for theV
waking of foam and singing of kettlesA
Its resounding step had disturbed the silence of nightsW
in streets with sonorous pavementsX
Sonorous coal coal master of dreams coalG
Ah tell me where is that beautiful swimmer the swimmerC
who was afraid of coralI
But the swimmer herself has gone back to sleepO
And I remain face to face with the fire and shall remainY
through the night interrogating the coal with wings ofZ
darkness that persists in projecting on my monotonousA2
road the shadow of its smoke and the terribleI
reflections of its embersB2
Sonorous coal coal pitiless coalG
