As soon as Wolf began to feelA
That he would like a decent mealA
He went and knocked on Grandma's doorB
When Grandma opened it she sawC
The sharp white teeth the horrid grinD
And Wolfie said 'May I come in 'E
Poor Grandmamma was terrifiedF
'He's going to eat me up ' she criedF
And she was absolutely rightG
He ate her up in one big biteG
But Grandmamma was small and toughH
And Wolfie wailed 'That's not enoughH
I haven't yet begun to feelA
That I have had a decent meal 'E
He ran around the kitchen yelpingI
'I've got to have a second helping 'E
-
Then added with a frightful leerB
'I'm therefore going to wait right hereB
Till Little Miss Red Riding HoodJ
Comes home from walking in the wood '-
-
He quickly put on Grandma's clothesK
Of course he hadn't eaten thoseL
He dressed himself in coat and hatM
He put on shoes and after thatM
He even brushed and curled his hairB
Then sat himself in Grandma's chairB
-
In came the little girl in redN
She stopped She stared And then she saidN
'What great big ears you have Grandma '-
'All the better to hear you with '-
the Wolf repliedF
'What great big eyes you have Grandma '-
said Little Red Riding HoodJ
'All the better to see you with '-
the Wolf repliedF
He sat there watching her and smiledO
He thought I'm going to eat this childO
Compared with her old GrandmammaP
She's going to taste like caviarB
-
Then Little Red Riding Hood said '-
But Grandma what a lovely great bigQ
furry coat you have on '-
-
'That's wrong ' cried WolfR
'Have you forgotS
To tell me what BIG TEETH I've gotS
Ah well no matter what you sayT
I'm going to eat you anyway '-
-
The small girl smiles One eyelid flickersU
She whips a pistol from her knickersU
She aims it at the creature's headN
And bang bang bang she shoots him deadN
-
A few weeks later in the woodJ
I came across Miss Riding HoodJ
But what a change No cloak of redN
No silly hood upon her headN
She said 'Hello and do please noteV
My lovely furry wolfskin coat '-
