His Wonderful Choo-choos Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEAAFF GGHHIIFF

When I see his wonderful choo choo trainsA
Which he daily builds with infinite painsA
Whose cars are a crazy and curious lotB
A doll a picture a pepper potB
A hat a pillow a horse a bookC
A pote a mintie a button hookC
A bag of tobacco a piece of stringD
A pair of wubbas a bodkin ringD
A deck of twos and a paper boxE
A brush a comb and a lot of blocksE
When I first gaze on his wonderful trainsA
Which he daily builds with infinite painsA
I laugh and I think to myself O geeF
Was ever a child as cute as heF
-
But when he's gone to his cozy nestG
From the toil of his strenuous day to restG
And when I gaze on his trains once moreH
Where they lie abandoned across the floorH
And when the terrible task I faceI
Of putting each Pullman back in its placeI
I groan a little and think O geeF
Was ever a child as mean as heF
