The Thought Of Her Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDBCDB

My love for thee doth take me unawareA
When most with lesser things my brain is wroughtB
As in some nimble interchange of thoughtB
The silence enters and the talkers stareA
Suddenly I am still and thou art thereA
A viewless visitant and unbesoughtB
And all my thinking trembles into noughtB
And all my being opens like a prayerA
Thou art the lifted Chalice in my soulC
And I a dim church at the thought of theeD
Brief be the moment but the mass is saidB
The benediction like an aureoleC
Is on my spirit and shuddering through meD
A rapture like the rapture of the deadB
