Sonnet 02 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABACDA EFEFGG| I stood beside a pool from whence ascended | A |
| Mounting the cloudy platforms of the wind | B |
| A stately heron its soaring I attended | A |
| Till it grew dim and I with watching blind | B |
| When lo a shaft of arrowy light descended | A |
| Upon its darkness and its dim attire | C |
| It straightway kindled them and was afire | D |
| And with the unconsuming radiance blended | A |
| - | |
| And bird a cloud flecking the sunny air | E |
| It had its golden dwelling 'mid the lightning | F |
| Of those empyreal domes and it might there | E |
| Have dwelt for ever glorified and bright'ning | F |
| But that its wings were weak so it became | G |
| A dusky speck again that was a winged flame | G |
