Sonnet 02 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACDA EFEFGG

I stood beside a pool from whence ascendedA
Mounting the cloudy platforms of the windB
A stately heron its soaring I attendedA
Till it grew dim and I with watching blindB
When lo a shaft of arrowy light descendedA
Upon its darkness and its dim attireC
It straightway kindled them and was afireD
And with the unconsuming radiance blendedA
-
And bird a cloud flecking the sunny airE
It had its golden dwelling 'mid the lightningF
Of those empyreal domes and it might thereE
Have dwelt for ever glorified and bright'ningF
But that its wings were weak so it becameG
A dusky speck again that was a winged flameG
