Your Catfish Friend Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFFGHIJKLKLMLNOK PQ

If I were to live my lifeA
in catfish formsB
in scaffolds of skin and whiskersC
at the bottom of a pondD
and you were to come byE
one eveningF
when the moon was shiningF
down into my dark homeG
and stand there at the edgeH
of my affectionI
and think It's beautifulJ
here by this pond I wishK
somebody loved meL
I'd love you and be your catfishK
friend and drive such lonelyL
thoughts from your mindM
and suddenly you would beL
at peaceN
and ask yourself I wonderO
if there are any catfishK
in this pond It seems likeP
a perfect place for themQ
