To England Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBDEFGHI

There are no postage stamps that send lettersA
back to England three centuries agoB
no postage stamps that make lettersA
travel back until the grave hasn't been dug yetC
and John Donne stands looking out the windowB
it is just beginning to rain this April morningD
and the birds are falling into the treesE
like chess pieces into an unplayed gameF
and John Donne sees the postman coming up the streetG
the postman walks very carefully because his caneH
is made of glassI
