Broken Vase Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD DEFC GHAI JCKL MNOP

The vase where this verbena is dyingA
was cracked by a blow from a fanB
It must have barely brushed itC
for it made no soundD
-
But the slight woundD
biting into the crystal day by dayE
surely invisibly creptF
slowly all around itC
-
The clear water leaked out drop by dropG
The flowers' sap was exhaustedH
Still no one suspected anythingA
Don't touch It's brokenI
-
Thus often does the hand we loveJ
barely touching the heart wound itC
Then the heart cracks by itselfK
and the flower of its love diesL
-
Still intact in the eyes of the worldM
it feels its wound narrow and deepN
grow and softly cryO
It's broken Don't touchP
