I met her as my colleagueA
She was in her late sB
Trying to shield her boundless sadC
With her busy schedule and her sonD
Chosen to teachingE
To forget the in laws teasingE
And parents worryingE
Taken to reading in full swingE
And the never ending serials of theF
Wonder idiot boxG
She has got parted awayH
From her man we were told by rumoursI
He was the incarnation of beastly demonD
And adulterated with many a womanD
Someone said at some time somewhereJ
All her colleagues pay attention to her storyK
They ask her neverL
Nor do they accept her everL
As he has run away from himM
One noble lady feelsN
She is very adamantO
He must be good manP
The truth is that she has not seen him even onceQ
She could not live with himM
Remarks her one time friendR
She cannot be adjustedS
She is very much egoisticE
One male colleague gives her moral supportT
He talks to her alwaysU
His looks are always everywhere on herL
Her inquisitive boss once quizzed herL
What is your husbandV
As he could not ask herL
Where is your husbandV
She showed her annoyanceQ
But said He is in the StatesW
Nobody knows his stateX
So interest is on her marital statusY
Why does not she remarry a concerned voiceZ
Who will marry her with a child a concerned responseA2
The neighbours not so neighbourlyB2
Keeps a watch on her by scrutinizing every visitor to her houseC2
Trying to get a degree by researchingE
About her lifeD2
They know more about her than herL
Their research bend of mind needs to be conferredE2
With a doctoral degreeK
The much learned societyK
Who would not even come outF2
When their neighbour s son met with an accidentO
Is always ready to tell about her unknown storyK
Even to a two minute old friendR
And kept open their intelligentiaG2
To find her life storyK
As their life s missionD
-
She walks in silenceQ
And lives around noisesH2
Not knowing or conniving the murmurs aroundI2
