Behind The Blameless Trees Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HIJKILMNO

Behind the blameless treesA
old fate slowly buildsB
her mute countenanceC
Wrinkles grow thereD
What a bird shrieks hereE
springs there like a gasp of warningF
from a soothsayer's hard mouthG
-
And the soon to be loversH
smile on each other not yet knowing farewellI
and round about them like a constellationJ
their destiny castsK
its nightly spellI
Still to come it does not reach out to themL
it remainsM
a phantomN
floating in its heavenly courseO
