Monsoon season on its way,
making me feel happy and gay.
The sky becomes dark, clouds become grey
My heart woud say ' Hip hip hurray'.
In the rain, I would dance,
Sail the paper boat, wouldn't miss the chance.
With my family, I would eat fritters,
And will be gleeful as nothing I feel bitter.
After the rain, when sun shines bright,
We can expect a rainbow, a beautiful sight.
With seven colours, It's an arc through the sky,
I wish to touch it if I could fly.
After the hot and dusty summers,
Rain is a boon for all of us.
Feeling the cool breeze is a sheer bliss,
Enjoy to the fullest, don't give it a miss.
