Waiting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDBEEC DFCDFGGC DHCDHIIC JKCAKLLC

The sun has slipped his tetherA
And galloped down the westB
Oh it's weary weary waiting loveC
The little bird is sleepingD
In the softness of its nestB
Night follows day day follows dawnE
And so the time has come and goneE
And it's weary weary waiting loveC
-
The cruel wind is risingD
With a whistle and a wailF
And it's weary weary waiting loveC
My eyes are seaward strainingD
For the coming of a sailF
But void the sea and void the beachG
Far and beyond where gaze can reachG
And it's weary weary waiting loveC
-
I heard the bell buoy ringingD
How long ago it seemsH
Oh it's weary weary waiting loveC
And ever still its knellingD
Crashes in upon my dreamsH
The banns were read my frock was sewnI
Since then two seasons' winds have blownI
And it's weary weary waiting loveC
-
The stretches of the oceanJ
Are bare and bleak to dayK
Oh it's weary weary waiting loveC
My eyes are growing dimmerA
Is it tears or age or sprayK
But I will stay till you come homeL
Strange ships come in across the foamL
But it's weary weary waiting loveC
