Unexpressed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEE

Deep in my heart that aches with the repressionA
And strives with plenitude of bitter painB
There lives a thought that clamors for expressionA
And spends its undelivered force in vainB
-
What boots it that some other may have thought itC
The right of thoughts' expression is divineD
The price of pain I pay for it has bought itC
I care not who lays claim to it 't is mineD
-
And yet not mine until it be deliveredE
The manner of its birth shall prove the testF
Alas alas my rock of pride is shiveredE
I beat my brow the thought still unexpressedE
