The Dove Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD

Out of the sunshine and out of the heatA
Out of the dust of the grimy streetA
A song fluttered down in the form of a doveB
And it bore me a message the one word LoveB
-
Ah I was toiling and oh I was sadC
I had forgotten the way to be gladC
Now smiles for my sadness and for my toil restD
Since the dove fluttered down to its home in my breastD
