She Told Her Beads Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACDAAEEA

She told her beads with down cast eyesA
Within the ancient chapel dimB
And ever as her fingers slimB
Slipt o'er th' insensate ivoriesA
My rapt soul followed spaniel wiseA
Ah many were the beads she woreC
But as she told them o'er and o'erD
They did not number all my sighsA
My heart was filled with unvoiced criesA
And prayers and pleadings unexpressedE
But while I burned with Love's unrestE
She told her beads with down cast eyesA
