Right's Security Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBCCDDEFFFGGHHIJJJ IIKK

WHAT if the wind do howl withoutA
And turn the creaking weather vaneB
What if the arrows of the rainB
Do beat against the window paneB
Art thou not armored strong and fastC
Against the sallies of the blastC
Art thou not sheltered safe and wellD
Against the flood's insistent swellD
What boots it that thou stand'st aloneE
And laughest in the battle's faceF
When all the weak have fled the placeF
And let their feet and fears keep paceF
Thou wavest still thine ensign highG
And shoutest thy loud battle cryG
Higher than e'er the tempest roaredH
It cleaves the silence like a swordH
Right arms and armors too that manI
Who will not compromise with wrongJ
Though single he must front the throngJ
And wage the battle hard and longJ
Minorities since time beganI
Have shown the better side of manI
And often in the lists of TimeK
One man has made a cause sublimeK
