Retort Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABAB CCDCD

Thou art a fool said my head to my heartA
Indeed the greatest of fools thou artA
To be led astray by the trick of a tressB
By a smiling face or a ribbon smartA
And my heart was in sore distressB
-
Then Phyllis came by and her face was fairC
The light gleamed soft on her raven hairC
And her lips were blooming a rosy redD
Then my heart spoke out with a right bold airC
Thou art worse than a fool O headD
