Religion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABB CCCDD EEECC

I am no priest of crooks nor creedsA
For human wants and human needsA
Are more to me than prophets' deedsA
And human tears and human caresB
Affect me more than human prayersB
-
Go cease your wail lugubrious saintC
You fret high Heaven with your plaintC
Is this the Christian's joy you paintC
Is this the Christian's boasted blissD
Avails your faith no more than thisD
-
Take up your arms come out with meE
Let Heav'n alone humanityE
Needs more and Heaven less from theeE
With pity for mankind look 'roundC
Help them to rise and Heaven is foundC
