Passion And Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEBF GHIEJAB

A maiden wept and as a comforterA
Came one who cried I love thee and he seizedB
Her in his arms and kissed her with hot breathC
That dried the tears upon her flaming cheeksD
While evermore his boldly blazing eyeE
Burned into hers but she uncomfortedB
Shrank from his arms and only wept the moreF
-
Then one came and gazed mutely in her faceG
With wide and wistful eyes but still aloofH
He held himself as with a reverent fearI
As one who knows some sacred presence nighE
And as she wept he mingled tear with tearJ
That cheered her soul like dew a dusty flowerA
Until she smiled approached and touched his handB
