Behind The Arras Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIGJK

As in some dim baronial hall restrainedA
A prisoner sits engirt by secret doorsB
And waving tapestries that argue forthC
Strange passages into the outer airD
So in this dimmer room which we call lifeE
Thus sits the soul and marks with eye intentF
That mystic curtain o'er the portal deathG
Still deeming that behind the arras liesH
The lambent way that leads to lasting lightI
Poor fooled and foolish soul Know now that deathG
Is but a blind false door that nowhere leadsJ
And gives no hope of exit final freeK
