My muvver's ist the nicest oneA
'At ever lived wiz folksB
She lets you have ze mostes' funA
An' laffs at all your jokesB
-
I got a ol' maid auntie tooC
The worst you ever sawD
Her eyes ist bore you through and throughC
She ain't a bit like maE
-
She's ist as slim as slim can beF
An' when you want to slideG
Down on ze balusters w'y sheF
Says 'at she's harrifiedG
-
She ain't as nice as Uncle BenH
What says 'at little boysI
Won't never grow to be big menH
Unless they're fond of noiseI
-
But muvver's nicer zan 'em allJ
She calls you precious lambK
An' let's you roll your ten pin ballJ
An' spreads your bread wiz jamK
-
An' when you're bad she ist looks sadG
You fink she's goin' to cryL
An' when she don't you're awful gladG
An' den you're good Oh myL
-
At night she takes ze softest handG
An' lays it on your headG
An' says Be off to Sleepy LandG
By way o' trundle bedG
-
So when you fink what muvver knowsM
An' aunts an' uncle tan'tG
It skeers a feller ist supposeM
His muvver 'd been a auntG
