After Many Days Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JHKH DLBL

I've always been a faithful manA
An' tried to live for dutyB
But the stringent mode of lifeC
Has somewhat lost its beautyB
-
The story of the generous breadD
He sent upon the watersE
Which after many days returnsF
To trusting sons and daughtersE
-
Had oft impressed me so I wantG
My soul influenced by itH
And bought a loaf of bread and soughtI
A stream where I could try itH
-
I cast my bread upon the wavesJ
And fancied then to await itH
It had not floated far awayK
When a fish came up and ate itH
-
And if I want both fish and breadD
And surely both I'm wantingL
About the only way I seeB
Is for me to go fishingL
