Trying Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GDHDIJIJ KLBLMBNB OPQPRISI T ABCB DEFE

The dream of the white man ever goes outA
To the fight that can never be wonB
And ever he plans to do the thingsC
That they say can never be doneB
It's seldom he values the things that areD
What he craves he may never gainE
Yet ever he tries till the day he diesF
And then feels he has lived in vainE
-
He climbs to the top of the highest hillsG
To search out the vales afarD
He bedrocks a hole on the deepest creeksH
He hitches his cart to a starD
He's ever the first in the far stampedeI
As he chases the rainbow's blendJ
But it's not the need and it's not the greedI
It's the wanting to win in the endJ
-
And whether he strives in the lofty rangeK
Or tries in the crowded martL
The longing to do what has never been doneB
Is uppermost in his heartL
He tries to build where none other has builtM
Win the maid that none other has wonB
To find the gold that he never can holdN
To finish what cannot be doneB
-
He lives his life in a trying wayO
And he scorns the things that are tameP
If all seems lost he still fights onQ
For ever he plays the gameP
And the efforts he makes as he strives to winR
Are a credit to him and his breedI
And the gods will count and give full amountS
And accept the act for the deedI

The dream of the white man ever goes outA
To the fight that can never be wonB
And ever he plans to do the thingsC
That they say can never be doneB

It's seldom he values the things that areD
What he craves he never may gainE
But ever he tries till the day he diesF
And then feels he has lived in vainE
