Up The Nepigon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHGHBIJI KLELHMHM NONOOEOE ABPBQRMR SISITUTU

How beautiful how beautifulA
Beneath the morning skyB
In bridal veil of snowy mistC
These dreamy headlands lieB
How beautiful in soft reposeD
Upon the water's breastE
Steeped in the sunlight's golden calmF
These fairy islets restE
-
A Sabbath hush enfolds the hillsG
And broods upon the deepH
Whose music every hollow fillsG
And climbs each rocky steepH
Now low and soft like love's own sighB
Now faint and far awayI
Now plaining to the answering pinesJ
With melancholy layI
-
Like white winged birds through azure depthsK
Above the restless tideL
With snowy plume and golden crestE
The fleecy cloudlets glideL
Their dancing shadows fleck the deepH
Or flit above the greenM
Of emerald islands fast asleepH
'Neath tranquil skies sereneM
-
I watch the sunshine and the shadeN
The sparkle and the gleamO
Till past and present seem to fadeN
And life becomes a dreamO
A fairy fancy tinted dreamO
A sun bright summer restE
In which I glide through shade and gleamO
Past islands of the blestE
-
How beautiful How beautifulA
The quiet hills replyB
And each responsive cliff gives backP
Its answer to the skyB
How beautiful the waves repeatQ
And every cloudlet smilesR
And writes its answer on the greenM
Of countless summer islesR
-
'Tis past this first last only lookS
And now away awayI
To bear alone in Memory's bookS
The sunshine of to dayI
Yet oft 'neath other skies than theseT
With other scenes in viewU
O isles of beauty sunny seasT
I shall remember youU
