Unknown Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACDC EFGFHIJI KLALHMKM

Thou hast marked the lonely riverA
On whose waveless bosom layB
Some deep mountain shadow everA
Dark'ning e'en the ripples' playB
Didst thou deem it had no murmurA
Of soft music though unheardC
Deem that 'neath the quiet surfaceD
The calm waters never stirredC
-
Thou hast marked the pensive forestE
Where the moonbeams slept by nightF
While the elm and drooping willowG
Sorrowed in the misty lightF
Didst thou think those depths so silentH
Held no fount of tender songI
That awoke to hallowed utt'ranceJ
As the hushed hours swept alongI
-
So the heart hath much of musicK
Deep within its fountains loneL
Very passionate and tenderA
Never shaped to human toneL
Dream not that its depths are silentH
Though thou ne'er hast stooped to hearM
Haply even thence some musicK
Floats to the All Hearing earM
