Till To-morrow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDECC FGFGCC HGHGCC

Good night good night the golden dayA
Has veiled its sunset beamB
And twilight's star its beauteous rayA
Has mirrored in the streamB
Low voices come from vale and heightC
And murmur soft good night good nightC
-
Good night the bee with folded wingsD
Sleeps sweet in honeyed flowersE
And far away the night bird singsD
In dreamy forest bowersE
And slowly fades the western lightC
In deepening shade good night good nightC
-
Good night good night in whispers lowF
The ling'ring zephyr sighsG
And softly in its dreamy flowF
The murm'ring brook repliesG
And where yon casement still is brightC
A softer voice has breathed good nightC
-
Good night as steals the cooling dewH
Where the young violet liesG
E'en so may slumber steal anewH
To weary human eyesG
And softly steep the aching sightC
In dewy rest good night good nightC
