Rhyme Scheme: A B CADAEFEF CGCGDFDF CHIHFACA CCCCACAC ACACACAC

Go thy way and when I have a more convenient season I will call for theeA
-
-
-
The harvest is past the summer is ended and we are not savedB
-
-
Not yet not yet O SaviourC
Although thou callest meA
In life's unclouded morningD
Why should I follow theeA
The world and all its pleasuresE
Outspread before me lieF
When I have grasped its treasuresE
I'll hear thee by and byF
-
Not yet not yet O SaviourC
True thou hast called me longG
Yet almost more than everC
I love the world's glad songG
Say not the years are hastingD
With rapid footsteps byF
Say not life's sands are wastingD
But call me by and byF
-
Not yet not yet O SaviourC
I have no time to stayH
The goal tow'rd which I hastenI
Is now not far awayH
Another day and haplyF
The triumph I shall seeA
And grasp my crown of vic'tryC
Then I will call for theeA
-
-
-
No more no more O sinnerC
The Saviour's call is o'erC
The door is shut foreverC
To be unclosed no moreC
So late the hour and lonelyA
So dark the night and drearC
And He who called thee onlyA
To bless thee will not hearC
-
Past is the harvest gladnessA
The summer bloom is o'erC
Thy sun has set in sadnessA
To rise oh nevermoreC
So late the hour and lonelyA
So dark the night and drearC
And He who called thee onlyA
To bless thee will not hearC
