- | |
The gliding years have rolled along | B |
And once again we come | C |
With greeting hand and choral song | B |
To our old college home | D |
Sweet college home dear college home | D |
We gladly gather here | E |
Old friends to greet | F |
Old faces meet | F |
And sing our songs of cheer | G |
- | |
A welcome true for those we meet | F |
For those we miss a sigh | H |
Of some we ne'er again may greet | F |
We speak with tearful eye | H |
Some rest with God whose feet once trod | I |
These halls with ours of yore | J |
And some there are | K |
Who wander far | K |
On many a distant shore | J |
- | |
God bless and keep the ones who roam | D |
And us who meet again | L |
And lit us each for that bright home | D |
Where comes no parting pain | M |
Oh aid us still thro' good or ill | N |
Still earnest for the right | O |
With spirits true | P |
To dare and do | P |
With Heaven and thee in sight | O |
- | |
And as the lingering years go by | H |
And changeful seasons come | C |
Still let thine eye rest lovingly | Q |
On this old college home | D |
Sweet college home dear college home | D |
We gladly gather here | E |
Old friends to meet | F |
Old faces greet | F |
And sing our songs of cheer | G |
