Death Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH

'Tis but to fold the arms in peaceA
To close the tear dimmed aching eyeB
From sin and suffering to ceaseA
And wake to sinless life on highB
-
'Tis but to leave the dusty wayC
Our pilgrim feet so long have pressedD
And passon angel wings awayC
Forever with the Lord to restD
-
'Tis but with noiseless step to glideE
Behind the curtain's mystic screenF
That from our mortal gaze doth hideE
The glories of the world unseenF
-
Tis but to sleep a passing hourG
Serene as cradled infants sleepH
Then wake in glory and in powerG
An endless Sabbath day to keepH
