| I put my mug aside smelling it one last time | E |
| The boy next to me asks in awe | F |
| you didn't even have your coffee | G |
| how can you be content with it '' | H |

| for loving it I say looking at | J |
| his eyes which shine with | K |
| surreal purple light processing my words | L |
| like an analog computer | M |
| I pluck a mahogany flower and say | N |
| If I cared for this flower | M |
| I would have watered it over | M |
| and not have it plucked for myself | I |
| flowers don't appeal to him he still nods | O |
| boys like him were always told to | P |
| believe that liking flowers could be feminine | A |
| and that loving machines is manhood | Q |
