Poet's note: The poem is themed on the game of chess, a game I find so interesting; mentally and for the fun. I pictured within this poem the attributes of the medieval warfare as well as that of the present day military. This poem was written someday in April 2020 and the feelings within is the of beauty of the game while portraying a protagonist and an antagonist.
