Dear heart,
I shouldn't be writing this
But I know you also want to hear things
You've always been there
You followed me everywhere
When I was soaked in tears
You gave me reasons to live
When I had nothing to wear
You gave me reasons not to grief
When I was broken
You still stood unshattered
When I was in pain
You told me I was still breathing and gave me hope
Your beating is the centre of my living
So I tell you
Fall in love
Love as much as you want
Do whatever makes you happy
Have memories
Cry when you're hurt
Rejoice when you're happy
Whine when you're bored
Cuddle when you're cold
Romance when you need it
Keep beating
Stay happy
And don't forget there's someone out here that believes your happiness keeps him alive and going
