The Milk Jug Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD AEAF

The Gentle Milk Jug blue and whiteA
I love with all my soulB
She pours herself with all her mightA
To fill my breakfast bowlB
-
All day she sits upon the shelfC
She does not jump or climbD
She only waits to pour herselfC
When 'tis my supper timeD
-
And when the Jug is empty quiteA
I shall not mew in vainE
The Friendly Cow all red and whiteA
Will fill her up againF
