The Floor Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIHJKLKAEME

Here's to the floorA
Our best friend of allB
Who sticks to us closeC
In the time of our fallB
When benches are fickleD
And tables betrayE
And rugs are revolvingF
He meets us half wayE
Our stay and supportG
When we can't stand aloneH
With the floor for a backerI
We'll never be thrownH
Here's to our friendJ
In life's every stageK
Dry nurse of infancyL
Wet nurse of ageK
A health to our floorA
Supporter and stayE
Though he often be fullM
May he never give wayE
